Muqtar Ahmed

Muqtar is well known International Calligraphy Artist. He did Ejaza (Masters Diploma) in Arabic calligraphy from IRCIA Istanbul Turkey in April 2013.

He learned and got guidance from world famous Arabic Calligraphy Masters like Mr. Mamoun Lutfi Sakkal, Mr Taha Al-Hiti, Master Mohammed Zakariya, Master Hassan Chalabi and Master Dawood Biktash. He completed Imshaq Shouqi book which was appreciated by the masters.

He participated in many international exhibitions in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Cairo, Algeria, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia.

One of his work has been parchesed by governer of Madina H.E. Prince Abdul Majid bin Abdul Azeez.

To propagate the art of Arabic Calligraphy in India he has started “Institute of Indo-Islamic arts and Culture” (Registered in Government of India) at Bangalore in Feb 2010.
